21-Day Journey Details

During the first week of 2025, (Mon-Thur) and each Wednesday, January 8, 15, 22, the sanctuary will be open for prayer from 6:30-7:30pm. Monday, Tuesday & Thursday of this week will be an open-door schedule. Simply come and pray between 6:30-7:30 as you feel led and are able. Wednesdays will be a corporate time of prayer & worship where we emphasize the rebuilding of walls in Fayette County. 

Why Fast?

 This week marks the first full week of 2025. As followers of Jesus, we know the significance of giving the "first" to God. We practice it every week by setting aside the first day of the week for worship, Sunday, and by returning the tithe, the first 10% of our income, to the Lord in giving.

As we fully launch into the first week of 2025 we are doing so with an attitude of prayer and a posture of fasting. Scripture makes it very clear that if we humble ourselves and pray, God will bring about what we need (2 Chronicles 7:14). What we need is Holy Spirit's help to make us more like Jesus and to make us more effective in reaching a lost world for Jesus. We cannot, nor do we even want to try and do this on our own. That's why we pray.
