Shepherd's hand Preschool

At Shepherd’s Hand we provide our children with a multitude of experiences that help them grow socially, emotionally, morally, intellectually, and spiritually.

Our preschool is a safe place for children to learn & grow and develop positive self-esteem and self-control.

What we teach

While every student learns differently, it is our goal that each of our students meets and surpasses all of the necessary requirements to enter kindergarten. By graduation, most students are able to recognize, identify, and write all letters of the  alphabet (both uppercase and lowercase), recognize, identify, and write all or most of their numbers  from 1–20, recognize, spell, and write  their first and last name, recite their address and phone number, color inside of given lines, retell elements of a story, recognize and identify plus and equal signs, do simple addition problems, categorize items, and make a basic pattern. During the year, students will also learn social skills and many facts about the world around them. They will be invited to join us as go on a nature walk, visit a farm, and take a tour through a fire truck.
