Water Baptism
Intersted in Water Baptism?

 

Water Baptism class will take place on Sunday, April 29th, @ 9:30 in Room 5.  Please call Judy in the church office @ 724.437.8101, if you’re interesting in following the Lord in obedience by being baptized in water. 

Water Baptism will be a part of our 11:00AM Sunday service on May 6th.  Join us in a morning of celebration!

Limited Access, Authorized Personnel Only, Restricted Area, these are signs
that just make you want to see what’s on the other side.   Just recently at the State Theater, I was
exploring the history of this majestic building and I noticed a small door
tucked away under the balcony.  It was
one of those doors that you would have to duck to enter.  It was opened just a smidge revealing a low
light and flaky walls.   I just wanted to
see what was behind that door.  However,
the faded sign read, “Employees Only.”  I
could only imagine what was behind there, what stories could be told of what it
used to be and what it is now.  
Imagining was all I could do simply because I didn’t have access to that
area. 

 

Distinguished means to be set apart from the norm.  In this life of following Jesus Christ, there
is a Holy Spirit that allows us to live a life apart from the norm.  It gives us access to a spiritual depth.  It causes us to respond differently to life
issues.   It distinguishes us from the
rest of the world.  This month we will be
looking at the characteristics and traits of the Holy Spirit.  Who is the Holy Spirit?  How do we receive Him?  What effect does He have on us?  How do we know we’ve received Him?  These answers and more as we enter
DISTINGUISHED, Living a Life Set Apart.  
See you there.  It’s a place few
have traveled, but all are invited.
